Error Message
On Windows 2008 server, the ZWC installation might fail with the following error:
The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2835. The arguments are: ErrorIcon, ErrorDialog, Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Error Description
The Zmanda Windows Client installer tries to add an exception to the Windows Firewall, but fails because the Windows Firewall is disabled.
Solution
Go to “Control Panel > Windows Firewall” and Turn On the Firewall. Run the ZWC setup once again.
