With Zmanda Pro, this option is compliant with the EU Data Protection Directive. You can choose to constrain your backup data to go to Amazon’s data centers within the EU boundaries.

Storage Class Analysis allows you to analyze storage access patterns, which can assist you in deciding when to transition data to the right storage class. This new feature follows data access patterns to assist you in determining when you should transition less frequently accessed STANDARD storage to the STANDARD_IA (infrequent access) storage class.
